FIRST-HAND INFORMATION: CERTIFICATES FOR LANGE WATCHES.

For owners of Lange watches who wish to receive confirmation of the authenticity of their timepieces, the Lange Service Team is the right point of contact. Lange issues certificates for historic Lange watches documenting their origin. For Lange watches crafted after 1994, a different document named proof of origin can be provided upon request.

CERTIFICATES FOR HISTORIC LANGE WATCHES.

On request, the manufactory will issue a certificate for any authentic historic Lange watch. In collaboration with the Glashütte Watch Museum, this makes it possible to remove any doubt whether the historic timepiece is actually a genuine A. Lange & Söhne watch.

Additionally, the certificate identifies the first owner, the date of delivery, and the purchase price paid at the time. A copy of the historic sales documents is also enclosed with the certificate.

To issue the certificate, which is subject to a charge, the master watchmakers of A. Lange & Söhne require at least the movement and case numbers of the pocket watch. More detailed information can be included in the certificate if a photo or the historic timepiece itself can be submitted.
