THE IMMACULACY OF A LANGE WATCH. AND ITS CUSTODIANS.
Machine and measure – this principle guides the work of Lange’s master watchmakers in every phase of the manufacturing process of an A. Lange & Söhne watch. Again and again, they appraise the results of their work with sharp eyes.
This attitude reflects their self-imposed standard of delivering perfection. And it becomes especially evident in the strict concluding tests that all timepieces must pass before they leave the manufactory, anxiously awaited by connoisseurs from all over the world.

THE FINAL INSPECTION OF A WATCH.
Every watch is subjected to a rigorous visual inspection prior to release. During this process, the surfaces of the dial, case, crystal, crown, and push pieces are thoroughly examined for tiny scratches and even the smallest blemishes. The water resistance of each timepiece is tested at 3 bar to verify its ability to withstand exposure to splashwater and brief immersion. And finally, the functional integrity of all mechanisms – including the patent-ed ZERO-RESET mechanism – is once again subjected to strict tests.
