12. JULY 2010: SPECIAL EDITION DEVOTED TO A. LANGE & SÖHNE
On 23 June 2010, Switzerland’s Edipresse publishing house circulated a special edition of the Tribune des Arts magazine that salutes the traditional A. Lange & Söhne brand’s anniversary under the heading “165 years – Homage to F. A. Lange”.
01. JUNE 2010: SWISS PRIZE FOR UP-AND-COMING WATCHMAKERS FROM A. LANGE & SÖHNE
On 29 May in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the “striking mechanism” for a pocket watch by Janina Thiele was awarded the first prize of the Swiss watchmaking competition, “Concours Institut Horlogerie Cartier 2010” (IHC).
29. APRIL 2010: PASSING ON THE FIRE - YOUNG WATCHMAKERS FOLLOW IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF FERDINAND A. LANGE
The Lange Watchmaking School has been in existence since 1997, and has so far produced 66 graduates. Once a year Lange invites the most promising training applicants to an assessment centre in the manufacture. The main thing is to identify how much manual skills, patience and technical understanding an applicant has.

19. MARCH 2010: LANGE ZEITWERK GETS ITS 11TH AWARD
The LANGE ZEITWERK is the first mechanical wristwatch with a truly eloquent jumping numeral display. With a completely innovative watch concept the “Face of New Epoch in Timekeeping” marks a further milestone in the history of A. Lange & Söhne. And to prove it, it has just won its second major international design prize: the renowned “red dot design award” in the “product design” category.
05. MARCH 2010: LANGE ZEITWERK HAS BEEN VOTED AS “WATCH OF THE YEAR” BY WATCH AFICIONADOS
The LANGE ZEITWERK by A. Lange & Söhne has been awarded “Watch of the Year 2009” by the registered users of the website timezone.com, one of the oldest and most influential web forums dedicated to watches. About 800 watch enthusiasts took part in the poll. More than 300 of them gave their vote to the distinctive timepiece.
01. MARCH 2010: A. LANGE & SÖHNE RECEIVES AWARDS AT THE „GOLDEN BALANCE 2010“
This year's vote for “The best watches in the world – Golden Balance 2010” has resulted in two prizes for models of A. Lange & Söhne. While the LANGE ZEITWERK was awarded with the second prize in the category “Watches priced over 25,000 Euro”, the model 1815 got a third prize in the category “Watches priced up to 25,000,- Euro”.
26. FEBRUARY 2010: A. LANGE & SÖHNE CONTINUES AS SPONSOR OF THE DRESDEN STATE ART COLLECTIONS
A. Lange & Söhne is extending its commitment as sponsor of the Dresden State Art Collections for a further two years. The Saxony-based watch brand, which enjoys a long tradition, has been supporting Dresden’s world-famous museums, including the “Historic Green Vault“, the “Old Masters’ Gallery“, and the “Mathematics and Physics Salon”, whose collection also includes historical Lange pocket watches, since 2006.
