One of the most prominent examples of its mechanical sophistication and finesse is the flyback function that in this special way has been implemented in only very few chronographs: only one actuation of a single push piece is required to reset the 1815 CHRONOGRAPH in the middle of an ongoing time measurement and – by releasing it again – to instantly start a new measurement. This function – it dates back to the beginnings of aviation in the early 20th century – has lost none of its charisma.
