DECORATION IN PERFECTION.
A glance through the sapphire-crystal caseback reveals the rich inner life of the 1815. Its newly developed manufacture movement displays all of the characteristic quality hallmarks of Saxon watchmaking art-istry. The three-quarter plate made of untreated German silver is an instantly recognisable Lange signature element. It showcases five screwed gold chatons that with their blued screws and ruby-red bearing jewels create a noble visual contrast against the backdropof the regular Glashütte ribbing.
Located immediately adjacent to the three-quarter plate, the hand-engraved balance cock is decorated by a Lange master using free-hand techniques that make each 1815 a genuine, one-of-a-kind treasure. According to Lange tradition, this component carries a whiplash spring that in the calibre L051.1 movement is precisely concentric with the balance-cock mounting screw.
