All in all, Lange manufactured only 35 pocket watches with separate double-chronograph or rattrapante functions, among them this precious double chronograph that dates back to 1891.- Gilt FU quality (designation for 1A quality until 1893) movement: Screwed gold chatons, engraved balance cock with diamond endstone and whiplash precision index adjuster, compensation balance with gold screws, lever and escape wheel in gold, double-chronograph mechanism with column wheel and split-seconds clamp is visibly configured above the movement
- Enamel dial with small seconds, outer scale with 1/5 second intervals for the two chrono sweep-seconds hands, signed "F. Krüssmann Y CIA , NO 29571" (name of customer)
- The 18-carat pink-gold case was crafted later (original yellow-gold case missing)
