TRUE TO THE TRADITION OF THE GREEN VAULT.
The art collection of the Green Vault at the Royal Palace in Dresden is world-famous. It was established by Augustus the Strong when he began to assemble an unprecedented repository of supremely precious creations of gold- and silversmiths, extravagant jewels, and exotic materials. A penchant for beauty is part of Saxony’s heritage to this very day. Lange’s master watchmakers are continuously inspired by this passion as well. It comes to the fore in their elegant jewelled watches housed in platinum or 18-carat gold cases that are lavishly set with brilliant-cut diamonds or other precious gems.
THE SPLENDOUR OF THE LITTLE SAXONIA.
Intensely exquisite taste paired with understatement are reliable signs that this jewelled creation of our master watchmakers is an authentic Lange timepiece. As the smallest member of the SAXONIA family, the LITTLE SAXONIA proudly represents Saxony’s artisanal heritage. With a diameter of only 34 millimetres and a height of just 8 millimetres, this delicate timepiece is the perfect companion for a slender female wrist. A case set with 50 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling approx. 1.2 carats and the guilloched dial give it the splendour that befits such an opus.
THE SAPPHIRE-CRYSTAL BACK REVEALS THE NATURE OF A LANGE WATCH.
The case of this dainty timepiece conceals a movement whose artisanal finissage matches the classy outward appearance of the stunning creation. A true masterpiece of Saxon precision watchmaking prowess can be admired through the sapphire-crystal caseback: just under 26 millimetres in diameter, the movement has everything that clearly identifies it as a typical Lange calibre. It is a study in perfection – from the three-quarter plate and the gold chatons secured with blued screws to the whiplash precision index adjuster.
