MECHANICAL INGENUITY – DESIGNED FOR AESTHETIC APPEAL.

The SAXONIA AUTOMATIC incorporates a technically sophisticated and divinely beautiful movement. A platinum centrifugal mass adorns the outer perimeter of the gold-plated central rotor. Despite the central-rotor configuration, Lange's master watchmakers succeeded in crafting a comparatively thin movement. It is merely 3.7 millimetres high.

209 PARTS – HAND-FINISHED WITH PRIDE.

All surfaces of the movement are lavishly decorated by hand, even those that normally remain concealed to the eye of the beholder. The three-quarter plate is finished with Glashütte ribbing. Small levers and jumpers are decorated with straight graining, wheels with circular graining. The undersides of the plates feature a perlage pattern, and the spring barrel is finished with solarisation on both sides. Additionally, all the edges in the movement are chamfered and polished.

SAXONIA AUTOMATIC – A MOVEMENT WITH PERSEVERANCE.

The self-winding calibre is powered by a unidirectional gold-plated rotor with a platinum centrifugal mass. A reduction gear suspended in ball bearings transmits the energy to the spring barrel with minimal friction losses. It can generate a power reserve of up to 72 hours. Beneath the sweep area of the rotor, the three-quarter plate reveals the shock-proofed screw balance with the Nivarox 1 balance spring, the hand-engraved balance cock, and the whiplash precision index adjuster.
