Ferdinand A. Lange was noted for his quest for perfection, his dignified modesty, and in particular, his compassion. These character traits became the inalienable fundamental values of A. Lange & Söhne – and continue to shape our thoughts and actions. In order for our employees to put these values into practice, we offer a motivating working environment, challenging personal opportunities and the possibility of advanced training.
We offer you a performance-based remuneration package that lets you share in the success of the company, as well as a circumspect retirement scheme. As a family-minded employer, we promote flexible working hours including several part-time models, depending on your personal situation. For example, in the case of young families, we contribute to childcare expenses.
We offer watchmakers with professional experience diverse possibilities of employment in one of the most sophisticated watchmaking manufactories in the world. You will begin with a customised introduction programme and will be deployed in one of the watch assembly domains commensurate with your skills and knowledge. Regular feedback and advanced training measures will enable you to further specialise yourself in different watch assembly domains and to fill executive positions. The possibility of representing the watchmaking craftsmanship at international events and opportunities for further development in the domain of the atelier or technology are offered to particularly talented watchmakers.
Specialist employees and executives in other sections (m/f)
We offer you diverse entry-level career opportunities as well as possibilities for further development in a dynamic, medium-sized company that is part of an international multicorporate enterprise. Experience the challenging field between the poles of tradition and the development of international markets. You will be prepared for this challenge during an extensive introduction programme where you will receive comprehensive information about people and products at A. Lange & Söhne as well as an overview of the entire organisation and its procedures.
Students, graduates and pupils (m/f)
We offer you varying tasks in demanding projects on which you will be working independently; in doing so, you will be able to extend your knowledge in a practical way, focussing on those issues that already fascinated you during your studies. Within the scope of an internship, your thesis or an extra-occupational internship, you will gain insight into the domains and procedures of a globally active manufacturer of luxury watches. You will be assigned a personal mentor and, after having successfully completed the internship, there is the possibility of a job offer.
Within the scope of profession-oriented internships or the “Open Week of the Company”, we offer pupils the opportunity to get to know our apprentice workshop and the trainee teachers. During a tour of the manufactory, they will be able to experience the “birth” of a watch and test their abilities at the watchmaker’s desk. On a regular basis, we also offer holiday jobs in different sections of the company.
