The History of Your Watch If you purchased your A. Lange & Söhne prior to 1 July 2004, you will not yet have a personal copy of the booklet "The History of Your Watch". In this case, please submit your warranty card. You will then receive a new "The History of Your Watch" booklet when your serviced watch is returned to you.

Depending on the model, the movement of an A. Lange & Söhne can consist of nearly 500 flawlessly finished parts that interact within the confines of its case – 8,760 hours a year. The parts are crafted to a tolerance of only a few thousandths of a millimetre. It is unavoidable that such a miniaturised high-performance mechanism is subject to wear. For this reason, you should have your A. Lange & Söhne serviced by a professional watchmaker from time to time. We recommend that you submit your A. Lange & Söhne watch – together with your | "The History of Your Watch" booklet – to your dealer every three to five years. Regular service interventions preserve the value of your watch and ensure that you and coming generations will continue to derive pleasure from owning this masterpiece of horology.
