The most valuable prize of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este has just received the finishing touches. The white-gold case back of the LANGE 1 TIME ZONE has been adorned with manually executed special engravings. The Central European Time indicated on the rotating city ring of the timezone watch is represented by Como instead of Berlin. The exclusive one-of-a-kind timepiece is sure to become a sought-after rarity. Lange CEO Wilhelm Schmid will personally present it to the owner of this year’s “Best of Show” automobile at the award ceremony on 26 May 2013 in Como.
A. Lange & Söhne’s sponsorship of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este is already entering its second year. This high-profile competition has been celebrating the automobile as a design icon and work of art since 1929. It is a partnership based on shared values and ambitions. For A. Lange & Söhne the cooperation has created interesting synergies and stands out as a fitting complement to the venerable brand’s commitments in the domain of culture.
