Frank Wolf: One day I just tried it. Watchmaking is a demanding profession, you learn something new every day. New models are introduced every year. It is a pleasure to bring these complicated mechanisms to life. And then there is something that one learns to appreciate quickly in the harsh climate of the Ore Mountains: you always work in a warm environment. |

Frank Wolf: They are not only amazed – they literally beleaguer me with questions. For people who see the many tiny parts of a Lange movement for the first time, it is nearly impossible to imagine how they are all put together by hand. Many of them are smaller than 1 millimetre. It requires a very steady hand. |

Frank Wolf: Of course. Watchmakers are really sociable people. When the work is done, we like to get together with friends, play cards or billiards and talk. Obviously, there will be the occasional beer. |
