Debuts 2018

A. Lange & Söhne presents seven new timepieces on the occasion of the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie Genéve 2018.

The ultimate chronograph.

Triple Split

The TRIPLE SPLIT is the first mechanical split-seconds chronograph in the world that allows multi-hour comparative time measurements. Additional rattrapante hands on the minute and hour totalisers make it possible to stop lap and reference times of events that last as long as 12 hours. The TRIPLE SPLIT is limited to 100 watches in white gold.

Tribute to a legend.

1815 “Homage to Walter Lange”

Limited to 1 timepiece

The 40.5-millimetre case of the 1815 “Homage to Walter Lange” is made of stainless steel. This single piece features a black enamel dial inspired by the design of historic pocket watches with the traditional railway-track minute scale and polished hands.

The newly developed movement carries the special calibre number L1924. This refers to Walter Lange’s year of birth. In addition, the first three numbers of the reference number, 297, cite his date of birth, 29 July.

To honour Walter Lange’s passion for craftsmanship, his pioneering efforts and his never-ending pursuit of perfection, the stainless-steel 1815 “Homage to Walter Lange” is to be auctioned off for a charitable cause in 2018.

In addition to the unique steel version of the 1815 “Homage to Walter Lange”, limited editions will be available in yellow, white and pink gold. The unusual limitation numbers refer to important dates in the manufactory’s history: 27 years ago, in 1990, Walter Lange founded his company – exactly 145 years after the pioneering achievement of his great-grandfather.

Advanced purism.

Saxonia Outsize Date

Black dials characterise the expressiveness of the newest addition to the SAXONIA watch family in white- or pink-gold cases. In the SAXONIA OUTSIZE DATE, the characteristic Lange outsize date sports a new design: the two classically white discs with black numerals are now black and feature white printed numerals.

Pure date. Pure moon. Pure mechanics.

Saxonia Moon Phase

Its lucid design and the combination of two both popular and useful complications define the face of the SAXONIA MOON PHASE. Lange’s iconic outsize date at 12 o’clock and the moon-phase display at 6 o’clock are subtly integrated in the dial. Following its launch in 2016, it is now available to enthusiasts of contemporary understatement in two additional colour versions in pink and white gold with a black dial and an outsize date showing white numerals on a black background.

Blue brilliance.

Saxonia Thin

Since its premiere in 2011, the SAXONIA THIN embodies the reduction to the essence of a mechanical watch – the display of hours and minutes. In addition to its puristic effect, a dial coated with a thin layer of copper-blue goldstone now lends a fascinating charisma. It is framed by a noble white-gold case, which is merely 6.2 millimeter high.
