Every year, some of the world’s most beautiful and elegant historic cars compete at the famous Villa d’Este at Lake Como during the Concorso d’Eleganza for the favour of judges and spectators. As the main partner of this event, A. Lange & Söhne is donating the trophy for the category „Best of Show”: A unique timepiece, especially made for this event. Lange’s CEO Wilhelm Schmid talks to Duccio Lopresto, winner of the trophy in 2017, about his Alfa Romeo Giulietta SS, its designer Franco Scaglione and the inner values unique classic cars and watches have in common.
