As a rule, Lange watches are fitted with valuable alligator leather straps that are suitable for both prong and deployant buckles. The ODYSSEUS model is also available with a titanium or stainless-steel bracelet, or with a rubber strap.

Strap lengths
To assure a snug fit to the circumference of the customer’s wrist, leather straps are available in three versions: normal length with 19 cm (11.5 + 7.5 cm), extra long with 21 cm (12.5 + 8.5 cm) or extra short with 17 cm (10.5 + 6.5 cm).
Individual strap lengths are available on request as well as other colour variations.
Deployant buckles
The leather straps of all Lange watches can be fitted with a precious deployant buckle. It reduces strap wear and facilitates putting on and taking off the watch.
The deployant buckles are made of 950 platinum or 18-carat pink, yellow, white or honey gold. The three-part forged safety deployant buckle is crafted in 140 steps. The Lange signature is engraved in the finely polished surface of the snap-catch element. In the regular and the heavier version (F), the wrist-side extender carries the reliefed A. Lange & Söhne signature.
There are two different deployant buckle inside widths: a 16-mm and an 18-mm wide version, depending on the watch model. Both inside widths are available in a regular (F) and a lighter (G) version. The 18-mm wide version is available in a heavier version (F) as well.
Lange deployant buckles have been designed to prevent spontaneous self-opening. At the same time, the extender clasp prevents the watch from slipping off the customer’s wrist when it is being put on or taken off. The heavier version is endowed with a release mechanism to easily remove the buckle from the strap.
Prong buckles
As a rule, most Lange watches have a leather strap with a precious-metal prong buckle. The buckle is smoothly rounded to assure wearing comfort.
The prong buckles are made of 950 platinum or 18-carat pink, yellow, white or honey gold. The finely polished bar is engraved with the Lange signature.
The prong buckles come in two different inside widths. The standard widths are 16 mm or 18 mm, depending on the model. The 16-mm buckles are available in a regular and a lighter version.
