Manufacture movements

Every A. Lange & Söhne timepiece is equipped with a manufacture movement. To be more precise: all calibres are developed, crafted, finished and assembled in our manufacture in Glashütte.

Grand complications

Grand complications represent the pinnacle of precision watchmaking. Discover the most complicated timepieces of A. Lange & Söhne.

Outsize date

The A. Lange & Söhne outsize date enables a date display with digits around three times as large as those in watches of comparable dimensions.

Chronograph

Chronographs and their manufacture movements have been flagship products of A. Lange & Söhne since 1999.

Perpetual calendar

Perpetual calendars are watchmaking masterpieces. They can automatically recognise months with 30 and 31 days, while also taking leap years into account.

Moon-phase display

Most of our moon-phase displays reproduce the moon’s orbit with a precision of 99.998 per cent.

Power-reserve indicator

The UP/DOWN display reminds the owner to rewind the watch before it stops running.

Manual watches

A manually wound mechanical watch must be regularly rewound with the crown. This provides the mainspring barrel with fresh energy.
