A masterpiece for an anniversary
In 2014, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the LANGE 1, A. Lange & Söhne introduced a special limited edition of 20 watches of the LANGE 1 TOURBILLON. It brings together a host of outstanding artisanal features. One of them is the main dial in black enamel, providing the perfect stage for the hands and markers in rhodiumed gold. The tourbillon cock, finished with the elaborate black-polish technique, is another exceptional design element of this watch.

A glance through the sapphire-crystal caseback also reveals superb craftsmanship, down to the very last detail. The twin mainspring barrel adorned with solarisation can be observed through generous apertures in the three-quarter plate. Lavish engravings decorate the tourbillon bridge as well as the crown-wheel and intermediate-wheel cocks. Two diamond endstones are used to suspend the tourbillon.
