An autumnal rite of passage
Every year in October, the Audrain Newport Concours & Motor Week held in the coastal town of Newport, Rhode Island, marks the magical transition from summer heat to autumn’s cooling, reviving air with a four-day event celebrating automotive excellence and craftsmanship.
In 2023, it was the first time for A. Lange & Söhne to appear as Presenting Partner of the Audrain Newport Concours d’Elegance, the highlight of the Motor Week. More than 180 vintage cars and a curated selection of A. Lange & Söhne timepieces are presented in the historic landmark and former Vanderbilt summer residence “The Breakers” which offers breath-taking views of the ocean and the Newport Cliff Walk.
Craftsmanship and timeless elegance
Both classic automobiles and the A. Lange & Söhne timepieces are emblematic of artistry, precision and tradition, from highly sophisticated engines down to filigreed dials. Merging noble artisanship with notable accomplishments in design and engineering, they are an expression of the ongoing pursuit of superior performance.
In the tradition of the worldwide Concours d’Elegance competitions, the Audrain Concours presents a range of special events, focusing on regional heritage, classic arts and sports. During the Concours, A. Lange & Söhne offers the VIP-guests insights into the world of German precision watchmaking with a selection of current and recently launched timepieces.
This unique event provides the guests with the opportunity to experience the Audrain Newport Concours & Motor Week and simultaneously immerse themselves in the exclusive world of A. Lange & Söhne.
