Exquisite artisanship for perpetuity
Calligraphy is defined as artistically executed decorative handwriting. It has its origins in the transcription of sacred manuscripts and expresses artisanal skills as well as aesthetic intuition. The blue numerals of the outsize date of the LANGE 1 TOURBILLON PERPETUAL CALENDAR HANDWERKSKUNST are hand-painted, manifesting our passion for artisanship and the attention we devote to details. They grace the lavishly decorated dial of this timepiece crafted for eternity.
Movement L082.1
Featuring a tourbillon with the patented stop-seconds mechanism, a perpetual calendar with an outsize date, day-of-week display, month ring, leap-year and moon-phase displays as well as a day/night indicator, the LANGE 1 TOURBILLON PERPETUAL CALENDAR is the technically most complex model of the LANGE 1 watch family. Presented in 2013, the HANDWERKSKUNST edition, limited to 15 watches in platinum, is endowed with a white-gold dial decorated with manually executed tremblage and a relief engraving. The top side of the tourbillon cage is black-polished by hand. This is one of the most elaborate finissage techniques.
