A. Lange & Söhne today announced it has been recognised as an equal salary employer, with a fair and equitable reward policy between women and men, as part of Richemont’s global gender EQUAL-SALARY certification awarded by the EQUAL-SALARY Foundation.
Thanks to the commitment of A. Lange & Söhne, as well as that of Richemont’s other Maisons and businesses, the Swiss luxury goods group has obtained global EQUAL-SALARY certification, spanning 38 000 colleagues across 39 markets (excluding YNAP and sites in Russia).
The certification was achieved at a global level and at the Group level after an intensive twelve months process, involving a statistical analysis of all salaries underpinned by an on-site audit entrusted by the EQUAL-SALARY Foundation to PricewaterhouseCoopers on all sites employing more than 50 colleagues.
"Congratulations to Richemont and its Maisons on the Group’s global EQUAL-SALARY certification. Such commitment to equal pay and equal opportunity is a pledge for gender equality in the workplace. A. Lange & Söhne, part of Richemont, has also contributed to a remarkable milestone – the first major luxury group to obtain global equal pay certification from the EQUAL-SALARY Foundation. We are very proud of these great achievements!" commented Noémie Storbeck, co-CEO of the EQUAL-SALARY Foundation.
