In 2019, our manufacture launched the ODYSSEUS, its first sporty-elegant timepiece, and laid the cornerstone of a sixth independent watch family. It was developed for those with a passion for watchmaking artistry and an active lifestyle. Thanks to its special construction and water resistance, the watch is a reliable companion during everyday activities.
Making the ODYSSEUS
The design language reflects the one-of-a-kind character of the watch, undeniably bearing the A. Lange & Söhne signature in every single detail: a dedicated manufacture movement that is assembled twice, the displays typical of our timepieces such as the outsize date and the day of the week, traditional elements of watchmaking artistry including plates and bridges made of untreated German silver, blued screws as well as a balance bridge manually engraved with a wave pattern, and the lavish manual finissage.
