Guarantee and the “History of your watch” booklet
The guarantee seal or the guarantee card can be found on the first page of the “History of Your Watch” booklet that comes with every A. Lange & Söhne watch. These form the basis of the international Lange guarantee. Additionally, the book allows maintenance to be documented by hand and can also be used, if desired, to record a change in owner as well as dedications.
Our timepieces are made using quality materials by experts in their field with the demand for perfection typical of Lange. Every watch goes through rigorous inspection procedures before it leaves our manufactory. This means you can be sure that you are receiving a perfect product from us. We provide a two-year guarantee from the date of purchase on every Lange watch for material and manufacturing defects.
Guarantee for a third year
If you obtained your Lange watch from a boutique, you can claim an additional year’s guarantee. This guarantee from the boutique operator requires you to successfully register your Lange watch on our website.
Service and repair guarantee
After an overhaul or repair, the watch leaves the service in perfect condition. That’s why you receive another 24-month guarantee on all parts affected by the maintenance or repair.
Guarantee documents and additional information

In the event that the guarantee documents are lost, the condition of the watch in question must be examined before the guarantee documents are reissued. The watch must therefore be presented to our customer service. Guarantee documents can only be reissued for watches in mint condition (max. four years old) and only once per watch. Please consult an authorised Lange dealer or Lange boutique near you.
